How Aquasol is born?

A sustainable innovation
with unparalleled cleaning
and degreasing power

 The Aquasol process, object of patents, uses water made pure following pretreatment in reverse osmosis (RO) and subsequently processed using potassium carbonate (K2CO3) as the electrolyte. This process makes it possible to characterize the tap water making it a sustainable product: natural and effective.

Softening

In the first phase, the water is softened by removing the ions that induce hardness (in most cases calcium and magnesium ions). This allows you to move on to the next steps, optimizing the yield of the process.

Reverse osmosis

Subsequently the water, under the action of an external pressure, crosses a semipermeable membrane, which allows the passage of pure water only (RO), retaining foreign and contaminating elements.

Elettrolysis

The RO water enters the electrolyser in 2 separate tanks, where potassium carbonate K2CO3 is dissolved in the first. Their content is transferred to the electrolytic plates where the poles + and - are separated by a special ion exchange membrane that allows, during the program, the migration of the K2CO3 ions into the second tank, generating the Aquasol products.
